    Honda Amaze prices start from Rs. 7.56 lakh and go up to Rs. 9.23 lakh for diesel manual powertrain. On the other hand, Ford Aspire diesel manual prices start from Rs. 7.79 lakh and go up to Rs. 8.64 lakh. Honda Amaze has a lower starting price but if you want the top variant, then the Amaze will cost more than the Aspire.

    One of the reasons why the Amaze diesel is cheaper is because it’s available in all variants. The Aspire diesel is not available in the base Ambiente variant.

    Honda Amaze is 3995mm long, 1695mm wide and 1501mm tall and rides on a wheelbase measuring 2470mm. The Honda Amaze has a boot space of 420 litres. On the other hand, the Ford Aspire measures 3995mm in length, 1704mm in width and 1525mm in height. The wheelbase of Ford Aspire is 2490mm and it has a boot space of 359 litres.

    A wider body normally results in better shoulder room inside the car while a higher roof makes it easier to get in and out of the car. A higher ground clearance makes it easier to go over tall speed breakers or drive on broken roads. The wheelbase is the distance between the centre of the front and rear wheels.     Is the Honda Amaze better than the Ford Aspire?

    Price of the base variant of Honda Amaze is Rs. 6.10 lakh and Ford Aspire is Rs. 6.09 lakh (both ex-showroom). The starting price of both cars is the same but the top variant of the Amaze is more expensive than the Aspire’s.

    The lower diesel variants of the Amaze are cheaper than the Aspire. The top variant of the Amaze is more expensive than the Aspire’s.

    In terms of dimensions, Aspire is slightly larger than the Amaze but the difference is not noticeable. The Amaze has a much bigger boot space but the Aspire has a better ground clearance. If you drive on bad roads, then every additional millimetre counts and you should consider the Aspire.

    For petrol manual powertrain, Aspire's engine offers more torque and at much lower RPMs, So, it’ll offer better driveability compared to the Amaze. Both the cars are equally fuel-efficient so the fuel costs will be similar.

    For the diesel manual powertrain, Aspire's engine offers more torque, so will offer better driveability compared to Amaze's engine. The fuel efficiency figures for the two cars are similar so the fuel costs will be similar.

    If you want an automatic transmission, then the Amaze is the only option for you. It has an automatic transmission with petrol as well as diesel engine.
