Creta 2020 vs WR-V 2020 | Dimension Comparison - Which one Is Bigger?

Hyundai Creta is 4300mm long, 1790mm wide and 1635mm tall and rides on a wheelbase measuring 2610mm. The Hyundai Creta has a boot space of 433 litres. The Honda WR-V measures 3999mm in length, 1734mm in width and 1601mm in height. The wheelbase of Honda WR-V is 2555mm and it has a boot space of 363 litres.

A wider body normally results in better shoulder room inside the car while a higher roof makes it easier to get in and out of the car. A higher ground clearance makes it easier to go over tall speed breakers or drive on broken roads. The wheelbase is the distance between the centre of the front and rear wheels. A longer wheelbase often results in more cabin space. A larger boot allows you to carry more luggage.

    • There’s no sugar-coating the fact that the WR-V petrol will feel terribly sluggish compared to the Creta.
    • On top of it, the Creta doesn’t compromise on fuel efficiency either and matches the WR-V petrol’s mileage figure.

In terms of dimensions, Creta will have significantly better road presence than the WR-V as it’s a much bigger car.

For petrol manual powertrain, Creta's engine offers more torque, so it will offer better driveability compared to WR-V's engine. More importantly, it offers better performance without compromising fuel efficiency. It’s marginally more frugal than the WR-V, which has a terrible double-digit torque-to-weight ratio of just under 100Nm/tonne.

For diesel manual powertrain, Creta's engine offers more torque, so it will offer better driveability compared to WR-V's engine. But the WR-V’s engine also has a respectable torque-to-weight ratio. It’s also more fuel-efficient than the Creta diesel.
If you prefer an automatic transmission, then the Creta is your only option out of these two as the WR-V doesn’t have an automatic with either powertrain.
