    In terms of dimensions, Hector is a larger car than the Tucson. So, it’ll have a better road presence than the Tucson. The Hector also has much better ground clearance than the Tucson. Although, the Tucson has an all-wheel-drive option, which is better for safely driving in low traction situations like snow, slush or gravel.

    For petrol automatic powertrain, Hector's engine offers more torque, so it will offer better driveability compared to Tucson. With the diesel engine, the Tucson offers more torque and also the option of all-wheel drive. But, the Tucson is not available with a diesel engine and a manual transmission while the Hector doesn’t get an automatic transmission with the diesel engine.

    If you want a feature-rich SUV, then the Tucson will suit your requirements. The MG Hector may be a better option for most buyers as it offers most of Tucson’s features for a far lower cost.
