Is the Maruti Suzuki S-Cross better than the Ford Freestyle?
The Freestyle and S Cross are very similar cars but from different segments and neither of them has a direct competitor. Both of them intend to offer an SUV-like ground clearance for a lower price tag than other SUVs of similar size. E.g. the Freestyle can be an alternative for potential B2 segment SUVs while the S Cross is an affordable option for C segment SUV buyers. Because of their streamlined profiles and a greater glass-to-body ratio, they come across as a crossover between a hatchback and an SUV and don’t offer the road presence similar to a boxy SUV.
The Freestyle offers SUV-like ground clearance for hatchback money. The S Cross offers C-segment dimensions for the price of a B2 segment SUV.
