Price of the base variant of Maruti Suzuki S-Cross is Rs. 8.39 lakh and Tata Nexon is Rs. 6.95 lakh (both ex-showroom). There’s about Rs. 1.0 lakh or so price difference between the Nexon and the SCross.

Despite a lower price tag, the Nexon offers more torque and power, and thus, better drivability as well. But it can’t match the S-Cross’ fuel efficiency figure. What it can do offer a stronger perceived road presence despite smaller overall dimensions than the SCross. And, did we mention it has more features too?
