Maruti Suzuki Wagon R 1.2 petrol engine offers the best torque in this segment, so it is expected to offer better driveability compared to all other cars. WagonR’s 1.2-litre engine is the most powerful in this comparison as it belongs in the B1 and B2 segment. So, naturally, it’ll win the performance challenges against the A-segment cars like the Kwid, Redi GO and SPresso.

- Renault Kwid is the longest car in the segment. It is 296mm longer than redi-GO.
- Hyundai Santro is the widest car in the segment. It is 71mm wider than redi-GO.
- Maruti Suzuki Wagon R is the tallest car in the segment. It is 129mm taller than redi-GO.

Amongst all the A-segment cars, Datsun redi-GO has the highest ground clearance, so it should be the last car to bottom-out on uneven roads. Maruti Suzuki Wagon R has the biggest boot in the segment, so it can carry maximum luggage. In terms of cabin space, the WagonR’s bulbous proportions give it almost an unfair advantage. It’s tall boy design also gives it a better road presence than all other cars in this comparison.
