    • Hyundai Creta starts at Rs. 9.99 lakh. Creta 1.5L EX costs Rs. 1.5 lakh more than Renault Duster's entry-level variant, which is the most affordable C-segment SUV.
    • 1.5L SX is Creta's most expensive variant with the petrol manual powertrain. It is priced at Rs. 13.46 lakh and that makes it more affordable than the most expensive petrol manual C-segment SUV, Kia Seltos GTX+, by Rs. 2.83 lakh.

    Hyundai Creta is available with a 1.5L normal petrol engine and a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine. The normal petrol engine is available with either a 6-speed manual or CVT type automatic transmission. The power and torque output of this engine are 115PS and 144Nm, respectively. The turbocharged petrol engine gets only a 7-speed DCT type automatic transmission. The power and torque output of this engine are 140PS and 242Nm, respectively.

    • Nissan Kicks turbo produces 156PS of power. It is the most powerful engine in the segment, having 16PS more power than Creta Turbo.
    • Nissan Kicks turbo produces 254Nm of peak torque. It has the best torque figures in the segment.
    • With a manual transmission, Hyundai Creta 1.5L has the best fuel-efficiency figure of 16.8kmpl.
    • With the automatic transmission, Hyundai Creta 1.5L has the best fuel-efficiency figure of 16.9kmpl.

    Nissan Kicks turbo petrol engine offers the best torque in this segment, so it is expected to offer better driveability compared to all other cars. If you're looking for a car with low running cost, then Hyundai Creta will be better since it is the most fuel-efficient car in this segment. The performance, drivability and fuel efficiency of the 3 cars’ turbo petrol engines are comparable.

A longer wheelbase usually results in more cabin space. It has a boot space of 433 litres. A larger boot allows you to carry more luggage.     Amongst all the C-segment SUVs, Nissan Kicks has the highest ground clearance, so it should be the last car to bottom-out on uneven roads. Renault Duster has the biggest boot in the segment, so it can carry maximum luggage. Despite its age, the Duster comes across as a competent car, at least in terms of dimensions. It can still hold its own against the rivals with the widest body, longest wheelbase and the biggest boot space. Its normal petrol engine also has respectable torque output compared to to the similar engines among C segment SUVs.
