    • Maruti Suzuki Brezza starts at Rs. 7.34 lakh. Brezza LXI costs Rs. 64k more than Hyundai Venue 1.2's entry-level variant, which is the most affordable car in this segment.
    • ZXI+ is Brezza's most expensive variant with the petrol manual powertrain. It costs Rs. 9.75 lakh. It’s still more affordable than the most expensive petrol manual B2-segment SUV, Mahindra XUV W8(O), by Rs. 2.09 lakh.

    Maruti Suzuki Brezza is available with a 1.5L petrol engine with a 5-speed transmission. The power and torque output of this engine are 105PS and 138Nm, respectively.

    • Ford Ecosport produces 122PS of power. It is the most powerful engine in the segment, having 17PS more power than Brezza 1.5. 
    • Mahindra XUV300 produces 200Nm of peak torque. It has the best torque figures in the segment.
    • The XUV300 and Venue turbo have similar torque-to-weight ratio and sit at the top in this class. So, these two petrol SUVs should offer the best drivability.
    • With a manual transmission, Hyundai Venue 1.0 has the best fuel-efficiency figure of 18.2kmpl - about 1.2kmpl better than the Vitara Brezza.
    • With the automatic transmission, Maruti Suzuki Brezza has the best fuel-efficiency figure of 18.76kmpl.
    • The Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSport are the only two SUVs in this class that have more than 100PS of power and 5-speed transmission.
    • The Vitara Brezza petrol and Ford EcoSport are the only cars in this segment to offer the old-school torque converter automatic transmission. The Brezza’s automatic transmission has only 4 gears - the lowest for any passenger car.

    Mahindra XUV300 petrol has the best torque output but the Hyundai Venue turbo has the best torque-to-weight ratio in the segment. So, the Venue should have the best drivability in this comparison with the Mahindra XUV300 following closely. The WR-V petrol has the worst torque-to-weight ratio in this segment of under 100Nm/tonne.

    The Maruti Suzuki Brezza is 3995mm long, 1790mm wide, 1640mm tall and has a wheelbase of 2500mm. A wider body normally results in better shoulder room and a higher roof makes ingress & egress easier. A longer wheelbase usually results in more cabin space. It has a boot space of 328 litres. A larger boot allows you to carry more luggage. Brezza has a 200mm ground clearance, it rides on 215/60 R16 tyres size and has 48 litres fuel tank capacity.
