With the launch of the S-Cross in 2015, Maruti Suzuki introduced a premium sales channel under the Nexa brand. Cars like the Ignis, Ciaz, XL6, Baleno and S-Cross are exclusively sold through the Nexa sales outlets. In 2017, Maruti Suzuki also started its Nexa service outlets to offer a premium ownership experience to its Nexa car buyers. In the same year, Maruti Suzuki also began rebranding its original sales channel as Arena. Maruti Suzuki also partners with Toyota and makes a rebadged version of the Baleno and Vitara Brezza. Toyota sells these cars as Glanza and Urban Cruiser.

Maruti has gone from offering a diesel engine in all cars starting with the Ignis all the way up to the S-Cross and Ciaz to now offering only petrol engines.
