Skoda Auto India is going aggressive with its new model launch strategy. Apart from preparing a slew of new India-specific models as part of VW Group’s 2.0 Turnaround plan, the Czech automaker is also working to refresh its current product portfolio for India. The Skoda Superb flagship sedan is also preparing to come in its new updated avatar in the Indian market. Skoda launched the Superb’s top of the line Sportline variant in India in October this year, while the Corporate Edition came earlier. Now, the Czech car maker is readying up the updated Superb to beat market competition in the premium saloon segment of the country.
The Skoda Superb needs a refresh pretty soon to fight with its illustrious rivals in India. Toyota is gearing up to launch its highly popular Camry Hybrid’s new model, with bigger dimensions, better styling and underpinned by the TNGA platform in January, 2019. So, it will be wise on Skoda’s part to bring in the updated Superb soon.
