If you wish to get the petrol Freestyle, but are on a strict budget, then at least try to go for the Trend variant, as it offers sensible added features over the Ambiente variant. As per our internal data, the upgrade to the Trend variant is well justified given its added features.
Moreover, the Trend variant comes with some features that you won’t be able to retrofit in the base Ambiente variant. Even if you somehow manage to retrofit these features, they won’t offer a proper fit-and-finish. These features include - height adjustable driver seat, electrically adjustable ORVMs and adjustable rear headrests.
Hence, if you really wish to stick to the base variants of the Freestyle, then we recommend that you at least go for the Trend variant.
Ford Freestyle Trend Variant vs Titanium Variant
The Freestyle Titanium is Rs 50,000 is more expensive than the Trend variant.

However, if you are eyeing the Titanium variant for the added safety features, then we would recommend to consider the Titanium+ variant instead. In a nutshell, the Trend variant is a good variant to go for as it offers an overall complete package.
Ford Freestyle Titanium Variant vs Titanium Plus Variant
You can get the Titanium+ variant by spending an additional Rs 35,000 over the Titanium variant.

Which Variant Of The 2020 Ford Freestyle Petrol Should You Buy?
According to us, in the entire range of the Freestyle, the Titanium+ variant offers the best value. Hence, the Titanium+ variant is our top recommendation. This means that if you can afford to go for any variant of the Freestyle, then you should buy the Titanium+. This recommendation is valid for both the petrol and diesel engine options.
The Freestyle Titanium variant is also a good value for money upgrade over the lower variants, and you can also consider this variant as well. However, not opting for all the additional safety and functional features of the Titanium+ to avoid the additional premium of just 35,000 won’t be a sensible decision.
For all the entry-level buyers, the Trend is the variant to go for, because it offers mostly all the must-have features. For the Freestyle petrol entry-level buyers, the Trend variant is a better choice over the Ambiente variant. Although the Trend variant doesn’t offer a great value over Ambiente, it offers a more complete package.
