    New updated Ford EcoSport variant-wise details revealed online

    Ford India is preparing to launch the highly anticipated EcoSport facelift on 9th of November, 2017. Just ahead of its official launch, the new refreshed Ford EcoSport subcompact SUV’s variant-wise details have been leaked out. As per the latest reports, the refreshed EcoSport will be available in 5 model trims, namely Ambiente, Trend, Trend+, Titanium and Titanium+.

Just ahead of its official launch, the new refreshed Ford EcoSport subcompact SUV’s variant-wise details have been leaked out. As per the latest reports, the refreshed EcoSport will be available in 5 model trims, namely Ambiente, Trend, Trend+, Titanium and Titanium+.

     

    Like the outgoing model, the new updated Ford EcoSport will also be offered for sale in both petrol and diesel choices. However, till now, Ford has only revealed the details of the new 1.5 liter Dragon series petrol engine. Other specs details are expected to be revealed only during the official launch of the model.

    The newly introduced 1.5 litre, 3-cylinder petrol mill has the ability to churn out a max power output of 121 bhp along with a top torque of 150 Nm. The new Dragon petrol engine will be paired to a 5 speed manual and an automatic transmission choice. The automatic model will come braced with paddle shift, electronic stability control, EBA, hill launch assist and TCS.

    The following are the variant-wise features details of the 2017 Ford EcoSport facelift:

     

    Ambiente

    The base model of the Ford EcoSport facelift will come equipped with body coloured bumpers, halogen quadbeam reflectors, rocker and bumper cladding and front and rear courtesy lamps. Comfort and convenience features will include Bluetooth handsfree feature and four-speaker audio system among others.

    In terms of safety equipments, the facelifted subcompact SUV will offer dual front airbags, save clutch start, ABS with EBD, pretensioner and load limiter for the front seat belts, rear child lock, crash unlocking system, which are standard across all variants.

     

    Trend

    On top of the features of the Ambiente trim, the Trend variant will offer features like navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto support and call support, steering mounted controls for audio and Bluetooth, and two USB ports on the central console.

    Trend+

    The Trend+ is the mid-level trim of the updated EcoSport, and on top of the features on the Trend trim, it will offer stock rear parking sensors, load compartment lights and puddle lights on the electronically folding wing mirrors.

     

    Titanium

    Besides all the features mentioned above, the higher trim Titanium variant will be adding some more premium features to make the EcoSport facelift model more attractive. It will be loaded with features such as smart entry as well as pushbutton start/stop system. The SUV will also come with projector LED headlights with Daytime Running Lights, a spare wheel mount, and high speed warning system.

     

    Titanium+

    The top of the range model trim of the new refreshed 2017 Ford EcoSport subcompact SUV, Titanium+ will be coming with all the additional bells and whistles. The added premium features on the top-end variant include cruise control along with adjustable speed limiter, automatic headlamps, automatic rain sensing wipers, side and curtain airbags and a tyre pressure monitoring system.

    According to the reports, the new Ford EcoSport facelift model has already started arriving at the authorized Ford dealerships across India. Ford is also offering huge discounts of up to Rs. 1 lakhs along with other benefits on the existing EcoSport model in order to clear the old inventory.
