The most affordable variant of the Aspire diesel is Trend and it costs Rs. 7.49 lakh. Notable features of the Aspire Trend diesel BS6 are:
- Mandatory safety kit (2 airbags, parking sensors, ABS)
- Music system
- Tilt steering
- Internet-connected features

- Steering-mounted controls
- Body-coloured door handles and outside mirrors
- Power mirrors
- Boot lamp
- Remote central locking with alarm
- All power windows
- Height adjustable driver seat

The Trend is naturally a better package as it covers the styling and functional features much better than the Ambiente variant but at a higher and expected cost. Since there is no Ambiente variant with the diesel engine, Trend becomes an easy choice to recommend for us.

While the price jump is justifiable because of high-value additions like alloys, keyless entry and touchscreen, none of these three features is a must-have. So, we’d suggest you buy the Trend variant instead, consider stretching a bit further for the Titanium Plus variant. Why do we say that? Let’s check it out and answer that question.

Once again the list is small but most of these are high-value features. Especially 4 extra airbags are exclusively available in the Aspire in the B2 sedan segment. Plus, the price is easily justifiable for these upgrades. So, the Titanium Plus variant is our top recommendation and the variant to buy, if you’re interested in the Ford Aspire with the BS6 diesel engine.

What Are The Engine Specifications Of The 2020 Ford Aspire Diesel?
Now that the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and Tata Tigor are no longer available with a diesel engine, the Aspire diesel’s opponents are narrowed down to Amaze and Aura. The Aspire’s 100PS power output is on par with the Amaze and its torque output of 215Nm is the best in class. One major shortcoming here is that it isn’t available with an automatic transmission. The Aura and Amaze are both available with an automatic transmission. The Amaze gets a smoother CVT-type automatic, although with lower power, torque and fuel efficiency rating. The Aura diesel has a 5-speed AMT automatic, which is cheaper to buy, run and maintain.
