Is The Titanium Variant Of 2020 Ford Figo Diesel Worth Buying?
The Figo Titanium diesel costs Rs. 7.55 lakh, which is Rs. 39,000 more than the Trend diesel. It adds the following features:
15-inch alloy wheels with 195-section tyres
Push-button start/stop with keyless entry
Adjustable rear headrests
The feature list of the Titanium variant is short and it doesn’t add any must-have features but it is a better value considering the additional asking price and features over the base Trend variant. A big chunk of that price you’re paying is for the alloy wheels, which is hardly a must-have for most buyers. However, the wider tyres will certainly help with better handling and braking. So, the Figo diesel Titanium is worth buying but the Titanium Blu is better. Let’s see what makes the Titanium trim shine.

Which Variant Of The 2020 Ford Figo Diesel Offers The Most Value For Money?
The Titanium Blu variant is the best VFM option of the Figo diesel.
Since the diesel engine is not available in the Ambiente variant, the Trend is our baseline. Thankfully, it’s suitably loaded and covers the basic must-have features. So, it’s easy to recommend for budget buyers. The Titanium variant is a better value than the Trend but its none of its features is a must-have. If you want more than just cosmetic additions, then the Titanium Blu is an easy choice. It adds features in all 4 categories and doesn’t cost a bomb. The Blu variant is our top recommended variant and the best value for money option of the Figo diesel.

What Are The Engine Specifications Of The 2020 Ford Figo Diesel?
The Figo diesel has very little competition. The Tata Altroz is the only other B2-segment hatchback currently available with a diesel engine. The Figo - at least on paper - has better power and torque than the Altroz but the Altroz has a wider peak torque band. It may have comparable off-peak torque as well because this engine is otherwise capable of making 260Nm of peak torque. The Figo is also not as efficient as the Altroz diesel but it’s not too far behind either.
DIESEL ENGINE SPECS
100PS @ 3750rpm
90PS @ 4000rpm
215Nm @ 1750-2500rpm
200Nm @ 1250-3000rpm

What Are The Dimensions Of The 2020 Ford Figo?
The 2020 Ford Figo is shorter and narrower than the Altroz. At 174mm, the Figo has a much better ground clearance than the Altroz but its boot space is much smaller. While the Figo’s higher variants don’t get 16-inch alloy wheels, the lower variants are also not as under-tyred as the Altroz, which runs on 165-section tyres. Entry-level hatchbacks normally use such narrow tyres on 14-inch rims.

White (Blu variant only)
The Blu variant is only available in white, silver and grey colours. White colour is only available with the Titanium Blu variant and looks great with blue and black accents.
