Currently, the outgoing model comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox, which comes mated to both the petrol and diesel engine, along with an optional 4-speed torque converter for the petrol model.

Apart from offering the 7-seater with a 6-seater model as option, it will also offer the 3-spoke multi-functional steering wheel like the new Swift and maybe the twin-pod instrument cluster also.
At the outside, the MPV will be bigger than the outgoing model. Based on the Maruti Suzuki’s new Heartect platform, the model has been launched in the Indonesian market measuring 4,395 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width and 1,690 mm in height, with the wheelbase that remains unchanged at 2,740 mm. While the diesel powertrain option has been almost revealed and only the official confirmation from Maruti is pending but it is expected to offer company's new 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine to replace the existing Fiat-sourced 1.3-litre diesel engine. Now, we can expect that the same engine will come mated to this new 6-speed manual gearbox. In terms of petrol motor, we can expect the existing 1.4-litre K-Series petrol engine to be continued with the 5-speed manual gearbox. However, Maruti Suzuki might also replace the existing 4-speed automatic torque converter with the new AMT system sourced from Magneti Marelli.
