The Verna SX variant is around Rs 1.40 lakh more expensive than the S+ variant, and this is true in case of both the petrol and diesel versions.

Nevertheless, the SX variant is packed with all the features that can be expected in a car of this segment at this price point. So, we think that in terms of features as well as value, it is worth spending the extra money to buy the Verna SX variant.

The SX variant comes with the automatic transmission option in both the petrol and diesel versions. For the automatic transmission, you’ll need to shell out an additional premium of Rs 1.20 lakh.

We think that this amount is on the higher side for an automatic transmission. However, considering the features that you’re getting, the Verna SX automatic with both the petrol and diesel engine options, is a good buying option.

Hyundai Verna Variants - Which Variant To Buy?

Let’s sum up all the variant-wise recommendations on the 2021 Hyundai Verna. Among all the petrol-manual variants of the Verna, the SX is our top recommended variant. This variant offers the best combination of value and features.

For those buyers who do not wish to stretch their budget till the SX variant, we suggest the S+ variant, but it lacks few basic features.

The top SX(O) variant’s incremental cost is high, so we don’t recommend buying it.

In case of the Verna petrol-automatic powertrain, again our top recommended variant is the SX variant. If you wish to go for the top SX(O) for its additional safety features, then we recommend choosing it with the turbocharged petrol engine, as this will also offer exclusivity, extra features and better performance.
