MG Hector Plus Petrol Variants - Which Variant To Buy?
Let’s sum up all the petrol variant-wise recommendations on the 2021 MG Hector Plus, in order to make your buying decision easier.
The Hector Plus petrol is now available in 4 powertrain options -- petrol-manual, petrol-DCT, petrol-CVT and hybrid-manual.
For the budget buyers who want to stick to an entry-level variant, the Super variant with the petrol-manual powertrain will be the suitable option. This variant mostly covers all the must-have features in its own price range. Yes, you’ll compromise a bit on the value by choosing this variant, but the ownership experience will make up for it.
If you are looking for a more feature-rich variant, then we recommend that you go for the automatic transmission option, as it will make your drive more convenient. MG officially recommends the CVT transmission for city focused driving, and we agree with this.
With the petrol-automatic powertrain, our top recommendation is the Smart variant, as it is suitably loaded and a sensible choice. We also suggest this variant’s manual version to be considered by all buyers for its additional features and value.
Above the Smart variant, the top Sharp variant primarily offers additional feel-good features, which justify the incremental cost.
