Nissan Magnite Facelift Spotted Testing – Likely To Get New 16-Inch Alloy Wheels | V3Cars

The Nissan Magnite is likely to receive a facelift soon as a heavily camouflaged test mule of the B2-segment SUV was spotted testing on public roads recently. While the latest Magnite spy shots do not reveal the front end of the SUV, it shows the side and rear of the SUV clearly.

Nissan Magnite Facelift – What To Expect?

Launched in 2020, the Magnite is currently Nissan’s only offering in the Indian market. Priced between Rs. 6.0 lakh to Rs. 10.91 lakh (ex-showroom), the Magnite offers buyers the space and comfort of a B2-segment SUV (Sonet, Venue, Brezza) for the price of a B1-segment SUV (Punch, Exeter). However, with SUVs like the Sonet and Nexon receiving major updates recently, the Magnite has fallen behind its competitors in terms of features on offer. That said, Nissan could rectify this with the upcoming Magnite facelift.

The Magnite facelift seen in the spy shots feature the same silhouette as the current model. However, the test mule is seen sporting a new set of 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear end of the Magnite is likely to remain similar to the current model. However, it could gain a slightly revised bumper and a tweaked set of tail lamps. Meanwhile, the front end could get a new bumper and redesigned headlamps to make the Magnite look fresh again.

As far as powertrain options are concerned, we expect Nissan to offer the Magnite with the same engine and transmission options as the current model. So expect the 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift to come with the 1.0L normal petrol and 1.0L turbo petrol engine options as before. Both engines get a 5-speed manual transmission as standard while the Magnite normal petrol automatic variants get a 5-speed AMT and the Magnite turbo petrol automatic variants come with a CVT automatic transmission. The 1.0L normal petrol engine in the Magnite produces 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque while the 1.0L turbo petrol engine puts out 100PS of power and 160Nm of torque.
