The most notable feature of the Lexus LC500h is its intelligent hybrid powertrain. The LC500h is currently the only hybrid sports car on sale in the country, after the discontinuation of the BMW i8. The LC500h comes with a 3.5-litre V6 petrol engine that runs on Atkinson-cycle and works in conjunction with 2 electric motors.

The 2023 Lexus LC500h comes with a 3.5L normal petrol V6 engine that runs on Atkinson cycle. It comes paired with an electric motor and combined, this powertrain produces 354PS of power and it gets channeled to the wheels via a multi-stage hybrid transmission consisting of a CVT and a 4-speed automatic transmission.

The Lexus LC500h is a luxury coupe and it goes up against the likes of the Jaguar F-Type, BMW M8 Coupe and Porsche 911.

Lexus LC500h Launch Timeline

Lexus are likely to announce the prices of the LC500h at the 2023 Auto Expo. Deliveries could begin from mid-2023 as the LC500h will go on sale as a completely built unit (CBU).

Lexus LC500h Expected Price

Lexus India are likely to price the 2023 LC500h at Rs. 2.50 crore ex-showroom. Currently, the LC500h retails at Rs. 2.29 crore (ex-showroom).
