Most Notable Features Of Tata Altroz Sport
The most notable feature of the Altroz sport turbo will be its engine-transmission combinations, which it will borrow from the Nexon petrol. Currently, the Altroz turbo gets a less powerful variant of the engine with a 5-speed transmission. Meanwhile, the Nexon offers 10PS and 40Nm better power and torque, respectively, along with a 6-speed transmission.

It’ll most likely borrow the other features from the current Altroz such as:
- Front and rear armrest
- Auto AC with rear AC vents
- Cruise control
- 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple Carplay
- 16-inch machined alloy wheels
- Halogen projector headlamps
- Keyless entry with push-button start/stop
Tata Altroz Sport Expected Specs
The Altroz turbo currently gets a 1.2L turbo petrol engine and makes 110PS of power at 5500rpm and 140Nm of torque between 1500 and 5500rpm. This engine gets a 5-speed manual transmission.
Rumours suggest that the Altroz sport, which will compete with the Hyundai i20 N Line will borrow the engine and transmission combo straight out of the Nexon. With the Nexon-spec turbo petrol engine, the Altroz sport will make 120PS of power at 5500rpm and 170Nm of torque between 1750 and 4000rpm. The Nexon also gets a 6-speed manual transmission, which the Altroz could borrow.

Tata Altroz Sport Launch Timeline
Currently, there are no details about the Altroz Sport’s launch timeline. However, if there’s enough interest among the Expo visitors, then Tata may launch the sporty hatchback by the 2023 festive season.
Tata Altroz Sport Expected Price
Besides the sporty styling, the Altroz sport turbo petrol will have more power, more torque and a 6-speed transmission instead of the 5-speed. For these features, Tata may charge Rs. 35,000 more than the regular Altroz turbo petrol.
