Otherwise, installing flexible seats from the aftermarket is not advisable as these features require specific floor mounting points, integrated mechanisms within the seat structure, and sometimes even changes to the vehicle’s body shell. Attempting such a modification in the aftermarket would be extremely complex, expensive, and, most importantly, could severely compromise the vehicle’s safety in the event of a collision, as seatbelts and seat mounts are critical safety components.
