Honda ZRV To Launch On May 22 – New Honda Flagship SUV Incoming | V3Cars

Honda Cars India have confirmed they will launch the all-new Honda ZR-V in India on May 22, 2026. The ZR-V will arrive as a premium flagship SUV and a full import (CBU), positioning it as a brand-builder for Honda in India.

Expected to be priced between Rs. 40 lakh and Rs. 50 lakh (ex-showroom), the ZR-V will target premium 5-seater SUVs like the Volkswagen Tiguan.

Honda ZRV – A New Direction For The Brand In India

The ZR-V marks a shift in Honda’s strategy, bringing in halo models to strengthen brand perception alongside its mass-market offerings. This suggests Honda are looking beyond volume and focusing on premium positioning as well.

Honda ZRV Design & Dimensions

The ZR-V features a more rounded crossover design compared to the boxier Honda Elevate.

Expected dimensions based on the global-spec are:

  • Length: 4568mm
  • Width: 1840mm
  • Height: 1620mm
  • Wheelbase: 2657mm

This positions it squarely in the premium C2 SUV space.

Features & Interior

The ZR-V is expected to offer a well-equipped cabin with:

  • Large touchscreen infotainment system
  • Powered driver’s seat
  • Dual-zone climate control
  • Wireless charging
  • Powered tailgate
  • ADAS suite

Hybrid Powertrain Expected

The India-spec ZR-V is likely to be powered by a 2L strong hybrid petrol engine putting out 180PS of power. It will be offered with an e-CVT automatic transmission. At its expected price point, the ZR-V will rival the Volkswagen Tiguan and Skoda Kodiaq.
