The Skoda Slavia has received a great response from the market and to extend its growth further, Skoda India will soon launch the Monte Carlo edition of the Slavia. The Slavia Monte Carlo will offer style and feature upgrades over the regular Slavia.

The Skoda Slavia Monte Carlo is likely to offer sporty add-ons to the exterior design of the Slavia. These add-ons could include a gloss black front grille, gloss black bumper fog lamp surrounds, blacked-out headlights, gloss-black ORVMs, sportier alloy wheels, gloss black rear bumper garnish and Monte Carlo badging on the fenders. Apart from these cosmetic changes, the Slavia will remain unchanged.

On the inside, the Slavia Monte Carlo could offer an all-black dashboard design with gloss red inserts for a sporty feel. We can expect red inserts around the AC vents, dashboard and centre console. It could also offer black and red leatherette seats with Monte Carlo embossing on the headrests. In terms of features, the Slavia Monte Carlo will offer front ventilated seats, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8.0-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless phone charger and an electric sunroof.
Skoda are likely to offer the Slavia Monte Carlo with both 1.0L turbo and 1.5L turbo petrol engines. Unlike the regular Slavia, we expect Skoda to keep some kind visual differential between the 1.0L and 1.5L powertrains in the Monte Carlo edition. With the Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo, for instance, Skoda offer red brake calipers with the 1.5L turbo petrol over the 1.0L turbo petrol. In terms of performance, both the engines will offer the same figures as the regular variant, at 115PS/178Nm and 150PS/250Nm, respectively.

It will go up against the likes of the Honda City, new-gen Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus and Maruti Nexa Ciaz. It is worth mentioning that while Hyundai are bringing a new generation model of the Verna, Honda have also begun working on the City facelift.
