Tata Nexon EV Long Range Launch On May 11 – What To Expect | V3Cars

Tata Motors are all set to launch the Nexon EV Long Range on May 11. The updated Nexon EV Long Range is likely to feature a bigger battery and features that are in line with the recently updated Nexon range. We expect Tata Motors to offer the Nexon EV Long Range alongside the current Nexon EV.

Tata Nexon EV Long Range

The Tata Nexon EV Long Range is likely to boast a bigger 40kWh battery pack and offer a range of over 400km on a single charge. With the bigger battery pack, the power and torque output could see a bump too. The current Nexon EV offers 129PS of power and 245Nm of torque.

While the Nexon EV comes with drum brakes at the rear, a test mule of the long range variant was seen with rear disc brakes. This could be to improve braking force as the long range model is expected to be heavier thanks to the bigger battery pack.

In addition to that, the Nexon EV Long Range is likely to offer new features like front ventilated seats, air purifier, cruise control, advanced telematics, auto-dimming IRVM and tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

As we stated earlier, the Nexon EV Long Range will hit Tata showrooms on May 11. The updated Nexon EV Long Range is likely to undercut the MG ZS EV facelift and the upcoming Hyundai Kona Electric. We expect Tata Motors to charge around Rs. 1.5 lakh to Rs. 2 lakh over the current Nexon EV.
