In this article, we’ll look at the Renault Kiger base model and the features of the Kiger RXE variant.

The Kiger is available in 5 variants - RXE, RXL, RXT, RXT (O) and RXZ. The base model of the Renault Kiger is only available with the 1.0-litre normal petrol engine and a manual transmission. It costs Rs. 5.64 lakh (ex-showroom).
Here’s a list of some of the notable features of the Renault Kiger base model:
The base model of the Kiger doesn’t get a music system, remote central locking and looks a little basic from the outside because of missing chrome elements. Still, this variant is worth buying as the next RXL variant is not a value for money option. The RXL variant doesn’t add enough features over the Kiger’s base model to justify the asking price. So, you can buy the base model and accessories it to your preference, which will also save you money.

The Kiger base model gets a 1.0-litre normal petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. It makes 72PS of power and 96Nm of torque. The exact mileage figure of the Kiger base model is not available, but it shares the engine transmission and frame with the Magnite, which claims to deliver 18.75kmpl. So, we can expect Kiger’s fuel efficiency figure to also align with those of the Magnite’s.
The base model of the Kiger is 3991mm long, 1750mm wide and 1605mm tall. It has a wheelbase of 2500mm and a boot space of 402 litres. The ground clearance of the Kiger base model is 205mm, which is only 4mm less than the Nexon’s ground clearance.
