Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition Bookings Open | V3Cars

Toyota India have opened bookings for the Fortuner Leader Edition, a special edition version of the standard Fortuner SUV. The Fortuner Leader Edition offers a few additional features over the standard Fortuner. Toyota are yet to reveal the prices of the Fortuner Leader Edition. However, the special edition Fortuner can be booked for a token amount of Rs. 50,000 via Toyota’s official website or your nearest Toyota dealership.

Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition – What’s New?

The Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition offers a sportier design than the standard Fortuner. Changes on the exterior include front and rear bumper spoilers. The special edition SUV is offered in 3 dual-tone colour options, including metallic and non-metallic white with a black roof and silver with a black roof. It also features all-black alloy wheels.

The Fortuner Leader Edition also gets a few changes on the inside such as dual-tone colours, wireless charger, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and auto-folding outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs).

2024 Fortuner Leader Edition Powertrain Specs

The Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition is only available with a 2.8-litre diesel engine. The Leader Edition does not get 4-wheel-drive or the option of a petrol engine. However, it does get 2 transmission options – a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The 2.8-litre diesel engine produces 204PS of power and 420Nm of torque with the manual transmission. The torque output goes up to 500Nm with the 6-speed automatic transmission.
