BYD India have launched the Sealion 7 Festive Edition at Rs. 50.60 lakh (ex-showroom). The new limited-edition electric SUV is based on the Sealion 7 Premium mid variant and gets an exclusive tan and black interior as its key distinguishing feature. Production is limited to 150 units.

BYD have significantly lowered the entry price of the Sealion 7 in India with the introduction of a new Dynamic variant. Priced at an introductory Rs. 41.90 lakh (ex-showroom), the new variant makes the premium electric SUV Rs. 7 lakh more accessible than before.

BYD India have announced a price revision across select variants of their electric vehicle lineup. Effective from July 1, 2026, prices of select variants of the Atto 3, Seal and Sealion 7 have increased by between Rs. 50,000 and Rs. 1 lakh. Alongside the price hike, BYD have also expanded the eMAX 7 range with new Comfort variants featuring a larger battery pack.

BYD India have announced that the Sealion 7 electric SUV will become more expensive from January 1, 2026. Customers who place their bookings on or before December 21, 2025, will still be eligible for the existing ex-showroom prices, effectively giving buyers a limited window to secure the SUV at the current price.
