Mahindra have dropped a new teaser for their upcoming electric SUV, the XEV 9S, giving us our clearest look yet at the brand’s next flagship EV. The SUV will make its global debut on November 27, 2025, and will be the latest born-electric model to join Mahindra’s INGLO EV platform, which already underpins the XEV 9e and BE 6.

Mahindra have issued an official advisory reassuring customers that all their petrol-powered SUVs are safe to run on E20 fuel (a blend of 20% ethanol and 80% petrol). The automaker has also confirmed that it will honour all warranty commitments related to the use of E20, offering peace of mind to existing and new customers alike.

Mahindra revealed the Vision X with a lot of fanfare at their Freedom NU event in Mumbai. While the star of the show was their NU IQ platform, the concept cars showcased the platform’s capability and flexibility. This new platform has tremendous potential in terms of flexibility as it is compatible with petrol/diesel as well as electric powertrains.
