Rumours suggest that the car could come with a normal petrol engine to keep the cost affordable. Thus, the Citroen C3 may directly compete with the non-turbo variants of the Nissan Magnite, Renault Kiger and the upcoming Tata Punch. Meanwhile, Citroen may also offer an optional turbo petrol engine, which will help establish the C3 as an alternative to the premium compact SUVs like the Venue, Nexon, Sonet and Brezza.
