In this June 2022 MG cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of MG for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which MG cars sales are improving and which ones are declining. Lastly, the table with monthly sales for the last 6 months will give you an idea about the 6-month sales trend of all MG cars.
June 2022 - MG Car Sales Figures - YoY Change
- Only ZS EV recorded a YoY growth of 24% in June 2022
- The Hector and Hector Plus pair and the Gloster reported a decline of 20% and 50.6%, respectively

June 2022 - MG Car Sales Figures - MoM Change
- The MoM figures tell the opposite story, showing a healthy growth across all cars except Astor which is the only car from MG showing a decline of about 19%. This is probably because rivals in Astor’s segment are entering the market, like the Maruti’s Brezza.
- Hector and Hector Plus pair showed a 47% MoM growth while the Gloster saw a massive growth of 196%.
- Astor managed to post 4-figure sales in June, which is what we expected in April MoM analysis.
