In this April 2022 MG cars sales analysis article, we’ll look at the car sales of MG for the previous month. We’ll also compare the YoY and MoM change to find out which MG cars sales are improving and which ones are declining.

April 2022 - MG Car Sales Figures - YoY Change

Besides the recently-updated ZS EV, no MG car managed to post a positive YoY change
The ZS EV’s sales improved 46% YoY in April while the Gloster and Hector siblings lost 72.5% and 32.5%, respectively

April 2022 - MG Car Sales Figures - MoM Change

MoM, all MG cars suffered a drop in April 2022
The Astor suffered the biggest blow of 89% and was the biggest loser
It’s shocking to see the Astor posting such pathetic numbers as the car’s base variant is a solid value offering and if they start delivering the base variant, then the Astor should manage to post 4-figure sales every month consistently
The Gloster’s MoM production dropped 45.5%, which is likely due to the Jeep Meridian
