#FirstSpot: Maruti Victoris Feature Deleted: ZXI, ZXI (O) Loses Leather Upholstery | V3Cars

In less than one month since the price announcement of the new Victoris SUV, Maruti Suzuki have removed one high value feature from the car. The ZXI & ZXI (O) variants of Maruti Victoris no longer get the leather upholstery feature. Considering that this is a feature of high perceived value, we believe that this will greatly influence our buying recommendation of the Victoris variants.

Maruti Victoris ZXI, ZXI (O) Loses This High Value Feature

We will soon revise the Victoris Variants Explained article on the V3Cars website with updated buying recommendations as this feature deletion affects the overall value score of ZXI & ZXI (O) variants.

While we are on the topic of changes in the Victoris buying recommendation, it’s also worth noting that Maruti have also increased the prices of Victoris. The ZXI and higher variants are now more expensive as prices have gone up by Rs. 15,400.

V3 Opinion

We believe these updates may be due to the higher than anticipated demand for the car. Perhaps the Victoris, especially the ZXI variant is quite popular and in-demand. So, from a business point of view, it’s natural for Maruti to maximise gains from price hikes as well as feature deletions.
