Maruti Suzuki GST Price Cuts – All Maruti Cars (Tentative Prices; Sep 22) | V3Cars

The recent GST revision for cars in India (effective September 22, 2025) could lead to significant price reductions across Maruti Suzuki’s portfolio. Small cars now attract 18% GST (down from 28%), while larger cars are taxed at 40% (versus ~43–50% earlier, including cess).

As a result, Maruti Suzuki customers can now expect savings ranging from Rs. 36,000 to over Rs. 1.10 lakh, depending on the model and variant.

Important Note: Please note that these are tentative prices sourced from a fairly reliable channel but Maruti may choose to adjust the pricing a bit when they come into effect on September 22, 2025. Maruti may increase or decrease their margins with certain models and variants to respect certain psychological barriers such as round figures.

2. Maruti Suzuki S-Presso

The S-Presso is likely to get a price drop of up to 8.5% across most variants. Like the Alto, the S-Presso VXI (O) CNG-manual variant is expected to get the biggest price drop of up to Rs. 52,100.

3.  Maruti Suzuki Celerio

The Celerio is expected to get a price of up to Rs. 8.5% across variants. In terms of the biggest price drop among the Celerio’s myriad variants, the ZXI Plus petrol-automatic variant may become cheaper by up to Rs. 62,800.

4. Maruti Suzuki WagonR

The tall-boy WagonR, which is available with multiple engine and transmission choices, is expected to get a price drop of around 8.5% across most variants. The Wagon R’s ZXI Plus variant equipped with the larger 1.2L petrol engine with a 5-speed AMT is expected to get the biggest price drop of up to Rs. 63,900.

5. Maruti Suzuki Eeco

Maruti Suzuki’s most affordable people carrier, the Eeco, is likely to get a price cut of around 8.5% across most variants. In terms of the biggest variant-wise price drop, the Eeco 5 STR AC (O) CNG-manual variant could get a price cut of up to Rs. 59,300

6. Maruti Suzuki Swift

Maruti Suzuki’s most affordable and safest sedan, the 2025 Dzire, is expected to get a price drop of up to 8.5% across most variants. In terms of the absolute amount, the ZXI petrol-automatic variant could get the biggest price cut of up to Rs. 86,800.

8. Maruti Suzuki Brezza

Among all the Maruti models mentioned so far, the Brezza is expected to get the lowest price drop of 3.5% due to its larger 1.5L engine options. Nonetheless, potential customers could expect a price drop of up to Rs. 48,200 on the top ZXI Plus petrol-automatic variant of the Brezza.
