Skoda Kushaq 1.5-Litre Deliveries To Begin From August | V3Cars
Skoda confirmed that prices of the new Kushaq will be announced on 28 June 2021 and deliveries are scheduled to begin from July. Now, the carmaker has revealed while the deliveries of the 1.0-litre Kushaq will begin from July, you will have to wait for August 2021 if you are planning to buy the more powerful 1.5-litre Kushaq. That said, Skoda will start bookings and announce prices of both versions on 28 June.
Skoda Kushaq will be offered with two TSI turbo petrol engine. While the 1.0-litre unit makes 115PS and 175Nm, the 1.5-litre engine is good for 150PS and 250Nm. Both the engines will be offered with a 6-speed MT as standard with an option of 6-speed AT and 7-speed DSG with 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre engines, respectively.
A leaked document has also revealed the variant-wise engine details of the SUV. The 1.0-litre TSI engine mated with a 6-speed MT will be available in all three variants while the 1.0-litre engine paired to a 6-speed AT will be limited to the Ambition and Style variants only. The more powerful 1.5-litre TSI engine will be offered only in the top-spec Style variant. If the rumours are to be believed, Skoda will also launch a Monte Carlo Edition of the Kushaq and it is likely to be available with the 1.5-litre TSI turbo engine only.
