Update (March 21, 2024): Volkswagen India have revealed 2 new Taigun variants – GT Line and GT Plus Sport. The new Taigun GT Line is offered with the 1.0L turbo petrol engine while the GT Plus Sport gets the 1.5L turbo petrol engine. Know more here.

The ex-showroom prices of the 2024 Taigun start from ₹10.99 lakh for the Comfortline variant (Base Model) with the 1.0L turbo petrol engine and 6-speed MT. The range tops out at ₹19.74 lakh (ex-showroom) with the GT Plus Sport variant (Top Model), which gets 1.5L turbo petrol engine with 7-speed DCT. Here are the variant-wise prices below:

Volkswagen Taigun Dimension
The 2024 Taigun is 4221mm long, 1760mm wide and 1612mm tall. Bigger exterior dimensions give a car a stronger road presence. The Taigun has a 2651mm long wheelbase. A long wheelbase makes the car more stable at high speeds and gives better legroom in the back seat, while a shorter wheelbase makes the car more agile. The 2024 Volkswagen Taigun has a fuel tank capacity of 50 litres and a boot space measuring 385 litres. The Taigun has a ground clearance of 188mm. The tyre size of the 2024 Taigun base model is 205/60 R16 and the top model rides on 205/55 R17 tyres. Cars running on bigger wheels provide better handling and styling. However, these advantages come at the cost of efficiency. Having bigger wheels means more metal and more rotating mass. Therefore, it adversely impacts your drivability, performance and mileage.

The Volkswagen Taigun is available with a 1.0L turbo Petrol engine and a 1.5L turbo Petrol engine. The 1.0L turbo Petrol engine is available with a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed TC transmission. The 1.5L turbo Petrol engine gets a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed TC transmission.
