Skoda have updated the Kodiaq SUV for 2026 with a revised feature list, added ADAS tech and better value positioning. The 2026 Kodiaq range now starts at Rs. 36.99 lakh (ex-showroom), making the entry point nearly Rs. 3 lakh more affordable than before. While the Skoda SUV remains mechanically unchanged, Skoda have focused on improving safety, premium appeal and variant value with this update.

First, let’s take a look at the new variant-wise prices of the 2026 Kodiaq:
While the Skoda Kodiaq base model is now Rs. 3 lakh cheaper than before, the mid and top variants cost Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1 lakh more.
Here are the top 3 changes made to the 2026 Kodiaq:
The biggest highlight of the 2026 Kodiaq is the addition of ADAS features. The top-spec Selection L&K variant now gets adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, blind spot detection, front warning assist and rear cross-traffic alert. This makes the Kodiaq Skoda India’s first SUV to offer ADAS technology.
The addition was necessary as newer rivals in the C2-segment SUV space have started offering advanced driver assistance systems. With this update, the Kodiaq becomes more competitive against SUVs like the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line, Jeep Meridian Toyota Fortuner and the upcoming MG Majestor.

Skoda have also improved the value proposition of the Sportline variant by adding features that were previously exclusive to the top-spec Selection L&K trim.
The Sportline now gets:

These additions make the mid-spec variant feel significantly more premium without forcing buyers to stretch to the top trim.
For many buyers, the Sportline could now emerge as the sweet spot in the Kodiaq range.
The updated Kodiaq range now starts at Rs 36.99 lakh for the Lounge 5-seater variant. Compared to the earlier lineup, this effectively lowers the entry price by around Rs 3 lakh.
This move could help Skoda attract buyers who want a premium European SUV experience but find luxury-brand SUVs too expensive. The lower entry price also positions the Kodiaq more aggressively against the Jeep Meridian and Toyota Fortuner.

While the overall design remains unchanged, the Kodiaq continues to stand out for its premium and understated cabin layout. The SUV still offers a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, massage front seats, panoramic sunroof, 3-zone climate control and a 13-speaker Canton sound system.
Unlike some rivals that rely heavily on touch controls, the Kodiaq’s combination of physical rotary dials and large screens continues to offer a more intuitive user experience.
Under the bonnet, the Kodiaq continues with the familiar 2L turbo-petrol engine producing 204PS and 320Nm of torque. The engine comes paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and all-wheel drive as standard.
While Skoda have not introduced any mechanical changes, buyers looking for a premium monocoque SUV with strong highway manners and all-weather capability will continue to appreciate this combination.
