The Mahindra Scorpio-N is available with 2 engine options — a 2.0L turbo petrol and a 2.2L turbo diesel. The 2.0L turbo petrol engine is available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. This engine makes 203PS of power at 5000rpm and 370Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 3000rpm with the manual transmission. The torque output goes hot to 380Nm between 1750rpm and 3000rpm with the automatic transmission.

The 2.2L turbo diesel gets a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed TC automatic transmission. This engine churns out 175PS of power at 3500rpm and 370Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 3000rpm with the manual and 400Nm of torque between 1750rpm and 2750rpm with the automatic transmission.

The 2.2L turbo diesel is also available with a lower performance tune which makes 132PS of power at 3750rpm and a peak torque of 300Nm between 1500rpm and 3000rpm. This is only available with a 6-speed manual transmission.
