It has become pretty much a tradition for Hyundai India to launch a new and important product at every Auto Expo. At the 2020 Expo, they launched the 2nd gen Creta. At the 2023 Expo, they launched the Ioniq 5. And for the 2025 Expo, Hyundai have the Creta Electric.

The Creta EV base model (Executive 42kWh) starts at 18 lakh. This smaller battery pack is available in another 4 variants, which cost up to Rs. 20 lakh. The larger 52kWh battery pack is available in the mid-spec Smart (O) and top-spec Excellence variant, which cost Rs. 21.50 lakh and Rs. 23.50 lakh, respectively.

Since there’s only one variant with both the battery options, we can safely say that the larger battery pack costs Rs. 2 lakh more than the smaller one. That means every 1kWh of additional battery capacity comes to the consumer at an additional cost of Rs. 20,833.
