Hyundai India are likely to showcase the Creta N Line SUV at the Auto Expo 2023. Let’s discuss the details like expected dimensions and engine specs, expected launch timeline, rivals and expected price of the Hyundai Creta N Line.

Hyundai Creta N Line is already on sale in the Brazilian market and upon its India launch, it will become the first SUV in its segment to have a sporty intent from the factory. Hyundai already offer the i20 N Line and Venue N Line and the Creta is next on the list to receive the N Line treatment.

The Hyundai Creta N Line is likely to use the same 1.4L turbo petrol engine that does duty in the regular Creta. The 1.4L turbo petrol engine produces 140PS of power at 6000rpm and 242Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 3200rpm. This engine comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and we do not expect Hyundai to offer a manual transmission exclusively for the Creta N Line.

Hyundai Creta is a C-segment SUV and it goes up against the likes of the Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.

Hyundai are likely to showcase the Creta N Line at the 2023 Auto Expo and launch the sporty SUV in mid-2023. Hyundai recently launched the Venue N Line and we expect the South Korean carmaker to give it some room to shine before the launch of the Creta N Line.
It’s quite early to gauge the prices of the Creta N Line. The Creta N Line is likely to be based on the Creta facelift, which is also likely to be shown at the 2023 Auto Expo. As we have seen in the past, Hyundai could charge a premium of Rs. 50,000 to Rs 80,000 for the N Line over the regular Creta turbo petrol variants.
