BMW India Launch 6 Series Gran Turismo M Sport Signature At Rs. 75.90 Lakh | V3Cars

BMW India have launched the 6 Series Gran Turismo M Sport Signature at Rs. 75.90 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with a 2.0L turbo petrol engine option along with a couple of new features. Read on to know more about the 6 Series Gran Turismo M Sport Signature.

BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo M Sport Signature Launched

A couple of months ago we reported that BMW will soon stop the production of the 6 Series Gran Turismo owing to sluggish sales. However, the Indian arm of the German carmaker has decided to give it a new lease of life in the form of the 6 Series Gran Turismo M Sport Signature edition, which is based on the 630i turbo petrol.

Speaking of its exterior details, the M Sport Signature offers BMW adaptive laser LED headlights, chrome plated exhaust surrounds, and LED tail lights. On the inside, the M Sport Signature edition offers power-adjustable comfort seats with an exclusive “Dakota” upholstery and stitching.

In terms of features, the BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo M Sport Signature offers BMW display key with remote parking, soft-close doors, rear headrest cushions, rear seat entertainment system with 2 10.25-inch screens, a panoramic glass roof, 4-zone climate control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a powered tailgate.

The 6 Series Gran Turismo M Sport Signature comes in the 630i trim. It uses a 2.0L turbo petrol engine that produces 258PS of power at 5000rpm and 400Nm of torque between 1550rpm and 4400rpm. The engine comes mated to an 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission that powers the rear wheels. The 630i can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 6.5 seconds. We expect BMW to discontinue the 6 Series GT once the limited run of the M Sport Signature edition is completed. The 6 Series GT competes with luxury sedans such as the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Audi A6.
