BMW have launched the i5 electric sedan in India at a price of Rs. 1.20 crore (ex-showroom). Brought to India via the CBU route, the i5 is only available in 1 variant – the top-spec M60 xDrive.

BMW have opened bookings for the i5 electric sedan in India. The i5 is the all-electric version of the next-gen 5 Series sedan, which is yet to launch in India. Interested customers can book the 2024 BMW i5 both online and at any BMW dealership across the country. BMW plan to launch the i5 in a single, fully-specced variant – the M60 xDrive – in limited numbers via the CBU route.

Powered by a V8 unit with 530PS, it accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds. It incorporates the latest BMW iDrive and Operating System 8.5, along with ConnectedDrive technology. The vehicle includes driver assistance systems like Integral Active Steering and BMW Park Assistance Plus. BMW EfficientDynamics features enhance performance and efficiency. The new BMW 7 Series Protection sets standards in protection, luxury, and aesthetics.

BMW India have launched 2 new variants of the 7 Series luxury limousine in India. The first of these new variants – the 740d M Sport – is assembled in India and gets a price tag of Rs. 1.81 crore. The second variant, the i7 M70 xDrive, is imported via the completely built up unit (CBU) route and costs Rs. 2.50 crore (ex-showroom). BMW have revealed the X2 and iX2 SUVs ahead of the 2023 Japan Mobility Show. The X2 and the iX2 feature a SUV coupe design and are offered with a choice of petrol, diesel and electric powertrains. BMW plan to launch the X2 and iX2 in various global markets in March 2024.
