MG Motor organized an experiential engagement program for customers to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of the Gloster in India. MG claims that more than 50 families participated in this adventurous driving experience. Customers got to test their Gloster in off-road tracks consisting of hill climbing, descent, water wading, and a lot more.

MG Gloster

MG had launched the Gloster last year in 4 variants, namely Super, Smart, Sharp and Savvy. The 4-wheel-drive is available in higher variants with a twin-turbo diesel engine, which produces 218PS of power and 480Nm of torque. Gloster comes with a segment-first semi-autonomous driving feature and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Some of the notable features of the Gloster include:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control

  • Auto Emergency Braking

  • Auto Park

  • Forward Collision Warning

  • Lane Departure Warning

  • Blind Spot Detection

The Gloster 4WD gets 7 drive modes - Snow, Mud, Sand, Eco, Sport, Normal and Rock. It also gets a software-based electronic all-terrain system, which controls how and how much power goes to each wheel depending on the terrain, incline, elevation, pitch, yaw and other data.

MG Gloster is the only SUV in its segment with the option of captain seats. Other features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, multi-colour ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, 12-way electrically adjustable driver seat with massage function, heating and ventilation, etc.

MG Gloster currently retails at Rs. 30 lakh to Rs. 37.7 lakh (ex-showroom). Its rivals are Toyota Fortuner. A few months ago, MG had increased the prices of the Gloster:
