The MG Gloster is available with a 2.0L turbo diesel and a 2.0L twin-turbo diesel engine. The twin-turbo engine option comes only with a 4x4 drivetrain. Both engines are available with a 8-speed TC transmission only. The Gloster’s 2.0L turbo diesel engine makes 163PS of power at 4000rpm and 375Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 2400rpm. The 2.0L twin-turbo diesel in the MG Gloster pushes out 218PS of power at 4000rpm and 480Nm of torque between 1500rpm and 2400rpm.

MG has not revealed the official mileage figures for the Gloster so far. The tested mileage of the 2.0L twin-turbo diesel is 12kmpl with the 8-speed TC transmission.
