BYD India have achieved a significant milestone by delivering its 10,000th EV in the country. The company said the achievement highlights both the growing acceptance of electric mobility in India and BYD’s commitment to sustainable transportation.

BYD looks set to expand their Indian portfolio as a camouflaged BYD Atto 2 electric SUV was recently spotted testing on Indian soil. This marks the Atto 2’s first appearance in the country, hinting at a potential launch in the coming months. Positioned below the Atto 3, the Atto 2 is set to enter the competitive C-segment, challenging rivals like the Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv EV as well as the upcoming Maruti Suzuki e Vitara.

BYD today announced the prices of their latest electric MPV, the eMax 7. It's available in 2 variants: Premium and Superior. The base Premium variant gets a 55.4kWh battery pack with an estimated range of 420km and it costs Rs. 26.90 lakh. The Superior variant gets a larger 71.8kWh variant, which has an estimated range of 530km and it carries an ex-showroom price of Rs. 29.30 lakh (ex-showroom). These are prices of the 6-seat versions. With the 7-seat configuration, the prices are Rs. 60,000 higher and that option is available in both variants.
