BYD India Crosses 10,000 EV Deliveries; Strengthens Push For Sustainable Mobility | V3Cars

With 44 dealerships across key cities, nationwide roadside assistance, extended warranty programs, and strengthened after-sales service, BYD India have been expanding its customer touchpoints. The company has also partnered with Relux Electric to provide charging solutions, aiming to make EV ownership more convenient.

Globally, BYD have sold more than 13 million new energy vehicles (NEVs), which it claims has already helped avoid over 106.52 billion kilograms of carbon emissions — equivalent to the carbon absorption of nearly 1.77 billion trees. The company has also featured among the Top 10 Most Valuable Global Automotive Brands by Kantar BrandZ for 3 years in a row, with a brand valuation of USD 14.4 billion in 2025.

Speaking on the milestone, Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles Business at BYD India, said:

 

Reaching the 10,000-customer milestone in India is a proud achievement that reflects the growing trust and enthusiasm for BYD’s vision of cleaner, greener mobility. Every vehicle we put on the road reduces emissions, advances EV technology, and strengthens a sustainable mobility ecosystem.

BYD India’s portfolio currently includes the Sealion 7, Seal, Atto 3, and eMax7. The company said referrals from existing customers have played a strong role in its sales momentum, highlighting confidence in the brand.

As it marks this 10,000-unit milestone, BYD India said they remain focused on expanding EV adoption in the country while investing in customer-centric services and ecosystem partnerships to accelerate the transition toward sustainable mobility.
