These models expand buyer choice across body styles including SUVs, MPVs and coupe-SUVs, while also introducing newer platforms, longer range figures and more advanced tech.

Mahindra’s latest electric offering – the 2026 BE 6 – sports a stylish coupe-SUV design that gives it immense road presence. So, if you are looking for an EV that stands out from the crowd, the BE6 is definitely worth your consideration. The new BE6 is not all about style though as it packs Mahindra’s latest technological innovations such as their INGLO electric skateboard architecture and impressive battery capacities. Available in medium and long range variants, the BE 6 offers a claimed range of 535km and 682km from its 59kWh and 79kWh battery pack options, respectively.
The 2026 Mahindra BE 6 is currently priced from Rs. 19.40 lakh to Rs. 25 lakh for the 59kWh variants. The larger battery pack is limited to the top variant – Pack Three – which is priced at Rs. 27.40 lakh (ex-showroom). Top features on the BE 6 include dual 10.25-inch displays, a fixed panoramic glass roof with illuminated elements, front ventilated seats, and more.

Launched alongside the BE 6, the XEV 9e is essentially an all-electric, coupe-SUV version of the XUV700. Like the BE6, the XEV 9e is based on Mahindra’s INGLO architecture and gets the same battery pack options to offer a claimed range of 542km and 656km, respectively. Being Mahindra’s current flagship product, the XEV 9e is packed with segment-best features such as the 43-inch wide display for driver information, infotainment and passenger entertainment.
The 2026 Mahindra XEV 9e with the 59kWh battery pack is priced from Rs. 22.40 lakh to Rs. 28.40 lakh, while the 79kWh variant is priced at Rs. 31 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Atto 3 is currently the most affordable EV from BYD in India. This C-segment electric SUV is offered with 60.5kWh battery pack, which gives it a claimed range of 521km, which is comparable to the 59kWh variants of the BE 6 above. The Atto3 not only offers a seamless design for maximum aero efficiency but interesting features like a 12.8-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system, NFC card key, 7 airbags, and more.
The BYD Atto 3 is currently offered in 3 variants – Dynamic, Premium and Superior – priced at Rs. 24.99 lakh, 29.85 lakh and Rs. 33.99 lakh, respectively.

The BYD eMax 7 is currently the most affordable 3-row electric MPV you can currently buy in India. As the name suggests, this D1-segment MPV offers seating for up to 7 passengers, including the driver. It can be optioned with either a 2+3+2 seat distribution or 2+2+2 configuration with captain chairs for the middle row. Top features of the eMax 7 include a large 5-inch driver’s display and a 12.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fixed panoramic sunroof, 6 airbags and a plethora of safety features.
The 2026 eMax 7 can be had with a choice of 2 battery packs – 55.4kWh and 71.8kWh. The former offers a claimed range of 420km while the latter offers 530km. The 2026 BYD eMax 7 is currently priced from Rs. 26.90 lakh to Rs. 27.50 lakh to the 420km version and Rs. 29.30 lakh to Rs. 29.90 lakh for the 530km version.

After introducing an electric SUV and an electric MPV, BYD launched their electric sedan in India – the Seal – in 2024. The Seal features a sleek design that is sure to turn heads no matter where it goes. Available with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations, the Seal offers a solution for both the enthusiast and responsible adults. Top features of the 2026 Seal include a large panoramic glass roof with a dimming canopy, 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen infotainment system, Vehicle-To-Load (V2L) capabilities and ADAS.
In terms of pricing, the base Seal RWD, which offers a claimed range of 510km, is priced at 41 lakh. The Seal RWD is also offered with a larger battery to help it offer a range of 650km. this variant is priced at Rs. 45.70 lakh. Lastly, the AWD Performance variant, which offers a range of 580km, is priced at Rs. 53.15 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai’s current flagship EV – the Ioniq 5 – may look like a retro-styled hatchback in pictures, but it is much larger in real life. The Ioniq 5 is offered with a 72.6kWh battery pack and offers a range of 631km. The India-spec Ioniq 5 is expected to get a refresh later this year. Currently, the single variant of the Ioniq 5 is priced at Rs. 46.05 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Sealion 7 is BYD’s latest entrant in the Indian EV market. Essentially a crossover version of the Seal, the Sealion 7 seats up to 5 occupants and gets 2 drivetrain options – rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. Both variants get an 82.6kWh battery pack. The RWD variant offers a claimed range of 567km while the AWD variant offers 542km per charge. They are priced at Rs. 48.90 lakh and Rs. 54.90 lakh, respectively.

The XEV 9S is Mahindra’s first all-electric 7-seater SUV based on the INGLO platform. Designed as a ground-up EV, it focuses heavily on space, performance and long-distance usability. The SUV is offered with multiple battery pack options ranging from 59kWh to 79kWh, offering a claimed range of up to around 679km.
Positioned as a family-oriented flagship EV, the XEV 9S combines practicality with strong performance and modern features, making it a compelling option for buyers looking for a large electric SUV. The XEV 9S is currently priced from Rs. 19.95 lakh to Rs. 29.45 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Harrier EV is Tata’s flagship electric SUV, built on their new acti.ev platform. It offers battery pack options up to 75kWh and a claimed range of up to 627km.
It also introduces features like dual-motor all-wheel-drive capability, fast charging and advanced connected tech, making it one of the most capable EVs in its segment. The Harrier EV is priced from Rs. 21.49 lakh to Rs. 29.48 lakh (ex-showroom).

VinFast’s VF MPV 7 is aimed at buyers looking for a practical electric people mover. Positioned as a spacious MPV, it is expected to offer flexible seating configurations along with modern connectivity features.
With VinFast rapidly expanding its presence in India, the MPV 7 could emerge as an alternative to traditional ICE MPVs for families looking to switch to electric mobility. Available in a single variant, the VF MPV 7 is priced at Rs. 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom)

The Carens Clavis EV is currently Kia’s most affordable electric vehicle offering in India. Based on the popular Carens platform, it focuses on practicality, comfort and feature-rich interiors.
The 2026 Carens Clavis EV is available with a 42kWh and 51.4kWh battery pack option offering a claimed range of 404km and 409km, respectively.

Positioned above the VF 6, the VF 7 is a larger and more premium electric SUV offering from VinFast. It offers a 59.6kWh battery pack and an electric motor mounted on the front axle. The VF 7 offers a claimed range of 431km to 450km, depending on the variant.
The VinFast VF 7 is currently priced from Rs. 20.89 lakh to Rs. 25.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with the Creta Electric.

The Creta Electric marks Hyundai’s entry into the mass-market electric SUV space in India. Based on the popular Creta, the electric version retains its familiar design while incorporating EV-specific elements such as a closed-off grille and aero-optimised wheels.
The Creta Electric is offered with 2 battery pack options – 42kWh and 51.4kWh – offering a range of 420km and 510km, respectively. It focuses on practicality and ease of ownership, making it suitable for both city and highway use. On the feature front, it offers dual screens, ventilated seats, panoramic sunroof and ADAS.

The Curvv EV is Tata’s latest electric SUV, bringing a coupe-SUV design to the brand’s growing EV lineup. Positioned above the Nexon EV, it offers a more premium design along with improved performance and range.
Built on Tata’s latest EV architecture, the Curvv EV is offered with multiple battery options – 45kWh and 55kWh – which gives is claimed range of 430km and 502km, respectively. It also gets a feature-rich cabin with a large touchscreen infotainment system, digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof and advanced connected tech.
With its distinctive styling and Tata’s strong EV ecosystem, the Curvv EV offers a compelling package for buyers looking for a stylish yet practical electric SUV. The 2026 Curvv EV is priced between Rs. 17.49 lakh and Rs. 22.24 lakh (ex-showroom).

The EX30 is Volvo’s smallest electric SUV globally, but it brings premium features, strong performance and advanced safety tech. Offered in a single variant with a 69kWh battery pack, the EX30 offers a claimed range of 480km.
Positioned as an entry-level luxury EV, the EX30 is priced at Rs. 41 lakh (ex-showroom, which should appeal to buyers looking for a premium electric SUV under Rs. 50 lakh.
