Update (Oct 3, 2024): In a surprise move, after trumpeting about pollution in the capital region and the need for greener cars like EVs, the Delhi government have decided to do away with free registration on electric cars. On the BYD Seal, you&rsquoll now have to pay 10% registration, which was earlier free in Delhi. This revision in on-road price of the Seal electric sedan is applicable since September 2024. BYD Seal Dimensions
The 2025 Seal is 4800mm long, 1875mm wide and 1460mm tall. Bigger exterior dimensions give a car a stronger road presence. The Seal has a 2920mm long wheelbase. A long wheelbase makes the car more stable at high speeds and gives better legroom in the back seat, while a shorter wheelbase makes the car more agile.
The 2025 BYD Seal has a boot space measuring 450 litres. Seal has a ground clearance of 145mm. The tyre size of the 2025 Seal base model is 225/55 R18 and the top model rides on 235/45 R19 tyres. Cars running on bigger wheels provide better handling and styling. However, these advantages come at the cost of efficiency. Having bigger wheels means more metal and more rotating mass. Therefore, it adversely impacts your drivability, performance and driving range.

BYD Seal Motor Specs
BYD Seal is available with 3 battery-motor configurations. The 61.4kWh battery pack with 7.0kW AC charging and rear-wheel drivetrain makes 204PS of power and 310Nm of torque. This configuration has a single electric motor and a driving range of 510km with a full charge. The 82.6kWh battery pack with 7.0kW AC charging and rear-wheel drivetrain makes 313PS of power and 360Nm of torque. This configuration has a single electric motor and a driving range of 650km. The third combination has 82.5kWh of battery pack, 7.0kW AC charging and all-wheel drivetrain with 530PS of power and 670Nm of torque. This configuration has a 2 electric motor and a driving range of 580km per charge.
