BYD India are marking the first anniversary of the BYD Seal in India by unveiling significant Model Year 2025 enhancements for both the Seal electric sedan and the popular Atto 3 electric SUV. These upgrades focus on enhancing performance, comfort, and technology, reaffirming BYD’s commitment to the Indian EV market.
BYD SEAL MY 2025: Luxury And Performance Upgrades
Celebrating a successful first year with 1,300 units sold, the BYD SEAL receives several key updates:
- The panoramic glass roof now comes with a retractable curtain that helps cut light and heat.
- A power sunshade is now standard across all models.
- Upgraded air-conditioning system with a larger compressor and improved air purification module.
- The Premium variant now features frequency selective dampers (FSD) for a more refined ride.
- The Performance variant also sees the debut of the innovative DiSus-C system. This intelligent damping system provides enhanced stability and comfort by dynamically adjusting the dampers based on thousands of inputs per second. DiSus-C improves comfort by softening the suspension on bumpy roads and enhances handling by stiffening it during dynamic manoeuvres like cornering, acceleration, and braking.
- Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard across all models.
- An all new sound wave function to improve the acoustic experience.
Bookings for the BYD SEAL 2025 are now open at Rs. 1.25 lakh. BYD will announce the variant-wise prices of the 2025 Seal in April 2025.
BYD Atto 3 MY 2025: Refinement And Reliability
With over 3,100 units sold since launch, the BYD Atto 3 receives updates focused on interior refinement and reliability:
- An all-black interior decor adds a touch of sophistication.
- Ventilated driver and front passenger seats enhance comfort.
- The low-voltage battery is upgraded to a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, offering a longer lifespan and improved reliability. This is a first in the vehicle’s segment.
- Anniversary Offer: The first 3,000 customers will receive the MY2025 BYD Atto 3 at 2024 ex-showroom prices.
Bookings for the MY2025 Atto 3 are now open at Rs. 30,000.
Mr. Rajeev Chauhan, Head of Electric Passenger Vehicles (EPV) Business at BYD India, stated:
