MG Select, the luxury retail channel of JSW MG Motor India, have introduced a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) ownership programme for the MG Cyberster and MG M9. Under the new scheme, buyers can purchase the Cyberster for Rs. 72.49 lakh plus a battery rental of Rs. 8 per km, while the M9 is available from Rs. 69.99 lakh plus Rs. 8 per km.

MG Motor India have launched the limited-run Couture Editions of the Cyberster electric roadster and M9 electric luxury MPV. Developed in collaboration with Indian designer Gaurav Gupta, both models receive exclusive cosmetic enhancements while retaining the same battery, motor and performance specifications as the standard versions.

MG will soon officially enter the commercial business scene with MG Commute — their Windsor-based electric car for cab and fleet operators. The Commute will not carry the Windsor nameplate and will sell with only the Commute badging. Moreover, visually, MG will distinguish it by giving it fewer cosmetic and functional features. This will help in maintaining separate identities for the Windsor and Commute vehicles.
