6 Features The 2026 Hyundai Venue Gets Over Tata Nexon | V3Cars

The Hyundai Venue and Tata Nexon are among India’s most popular B2-segment SUVs. Both offer striking designs, efficient engines and rich feature lists. However, Hyundai’s 2nd generation Venue takes things a step further, adding a host of technology and comfort upgrades that make it feel noticeably more premium than before.

6 Features 2026 Hyundai Venue Gets Over Tata Nexon

While the Nexon remains one of the most balanced and well-rounded SUVs in the segment, the new Venue 2026 edges ahead with a few key features that enhance safety, convenience and the overall ownership experience. Let’s take a look at the 6 standout features the 2026 Hyundai Venue offers over the Tata Nexon

1. Dual 12.3-Inch Curved Displays

Venue Dual 12.3-Inch Curved Displays

One of the biggest highlights of the new Venue is its dual 12.3-inch curved screen setup that houses a digital driver’s display and an infotainment system under a single seamless glass panel. This layout gives the cabin a modern, high-tech look similar to Hyundai’s larger SUVs like the Creta N Line and Tucson. However, it’s worth pointing out that this feature is reserved for the top HX 10 variant only.

In comparison, the Tata Nexon gets separate 10.25-inch displays for the instrument cluster and infotainment system. While the Nexon’s screens do the job well, the Venue’s larger curved layout feels more immersive and premium.

2. Level-2 ADAS Suite

Hyundai have taken safety tech up a notch with the Venue’s new Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). The system includes features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist, lane following assist, forward collision avoidance, high beam assist and driver attention warning.

The Tata Nexon gained ADAS in mid-October. However, it is limited to Level-1 functions. Thus, it does not offer premium features like adaptive cruise control and forward collision avoidance as the system cannot actively control both steering and acceleration.

3. Powered Driver’s Seat

The 2026 Venue continues to offer a 4-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, which is a rare feature in this segment. It allows you to fine-tune your position effortlessly at the touch of a button. The Nexon, on the other hand, only offers manual seat adjustments for both the driver and front passenger.

4. Multi-Mode Traction Control

In addition to the usual drive modes (Normal, Eco, Sport), the new Venue also comes with traction control modes – Snow, Mud and Sand. These allow the driver to optimise the grip based on surface conditions, thus improving control and safety on tricky terrains. The Tata Nexon only offers drive modes without any dedicated traction settings.

5. All-Wheel Disc Brakes

Hyundai have equipped the HX 8 and HX 10 variants equipped with an automatic transmission disc brakes on all 4 corners. The all-wheel disc brake setup ensures better stability, reduced braking distances and more consistent braking performance, especially under heavy braking.

The Nexon continues with front disc and rear drum brakes, which is typical for this segment but less advanced than the Venue’s setup.

6. Ambient Lighting And Premium Cabin Touches

The 2026 Venue also brings in subtle but noticeable interior enhancements such as dashboard and console ambient lighting, giving the cabin a more upmarket and relaxing vibe during night drives. The Nexon misses out on customisable ambient lighting, which makes the Venue’s cabin ambience feel a class above.
